Christmas cards

This year I decided to use my white-on-black sketches as a Christmas cards.

I understand it's a little bit late :-), but I will send one of them to five of you, who will send me an address to asia.shookaty@gmail.com.

It will be something like lottery.

My husband Alex makes hand-printed film photos. 
And I'm collecting his used contacts. 
So I decided to create a book with them. 


The text is Russian. May be once I will translate it for my English readers. Sorry. But I hope you'll enjoy visual part.

Hospital

For the last five days we were in hospital with Martha. 
She was born with capillary-cavernous hemangioma on her shoulder and now she had to come through the surgery.

But now she is ok and we are home. 
When we were in the hospital and I had to wait, I tried to soothe myself with sketching.

And here she is this morning :-)

Smiling, playing with her toys like there was no any surgery :-)

And we are really happy now!

I saw fantastic dream and I tried to draw it.
In my dream I was afraid to jump.

days of chestnuts

In Kyiv, where we live, it is time of chestnuts. They are everywhere. And when you're going through the park you need to beware of falling chestnuts.

I like to draw there different shapes.


I don't have much time to draw a lot because of all the great time taking care of Martha and playing with her. :-)
So I keep on sketching when she sleeps and waiting for that days when my little girl will draw with me.
